Bless His Heart

I am a photographer. I strive to one day be a professional and I love to practice on my favorite subjects, my family. I am very lucky to have a daughter who will bring her husband and babies along on shoots to amuse me. Lol

My grand babies are precious and are great on our adventures just to be two and three years old. We go on walks and drives all over town for our pictures and they seem to enjoy it.

They are both good at posing for me but I didn't realize just what the oldest would do until we found a little prayer garden in a church yard here in town. He was a angel that day. I asked him to kneel down and pray for the shot and he did not hesitate. He even patiently moved around a few times to get the perfect picture.

To me the times I spend doing the thing I love, with the people I love, are memories in the making. I hope it is for my grandchildren also, because our memories are what connect us to others.

I need help.

I am trying to add a playlist to my blog with no luck at all. I went to Playlist.com and created one but have yet to figure out how to incorporate it into my blogspot. If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you.

One World- One Heart give-away

one world one heart

While reading through a few blogs to past the time I ran across a wonderful event to help bloggers connect with one another.

There is an abundance of talent to be discovered if only given the chance. This is that chance. And although I dropped in a little late to participate I would love to help get the word out  to others about the event.

One world – One heart is definitely worth taking the time to check out. Who knows you may even win a gift. I will be back next year as a participate. Thank you for your time. Looking forward.  until i return

A love hate relationship

P1020376[1] Sunday and Monday it snowed. It snowed for a long time for here. It was very beautiful and I love the beauty but it had our hills and curves quite slick. On Monday there were twelve cars wreck on just one hill close to the house. And that is where my hate comes in. I am deathly afraid of the roads when they have snow and ice. So I am usually stuck at home going stir crazy. I guess just the thought of not being able to get out if I should choose is the problem. I was thrilled to make a trip to Wal-Mart today and I guess that shows you just how desperate I had become. Anyway, things are back to normal if there is such and I am glad to be free again. until i return

Lady Beetles

I have always thought lady bugs, not the bug itself but cute little pictures and drawings and the likes, where cute. But around fall we developed a problem with them. We couldn’t go out of the house without being attacked. Then they started getting into the house. They covered the lights ath_15-1[1]nd the ceilings. As it started getting colder some of them started to die. Then they wound up on the floors and counters and everywhere else. I began to hate them, even all the cute little pictures. So I did a little research and found out that what we had was not really a lady bug. They were lady beetles. Asian to be exact and they do not have a known predator in the U.S. In fact there is also no pesticide for them. So my vacuum has seen overtime and I will dislike the lady bug and beetle from here on out.
